About the FAA Child Care Subsidy Program (CCSP)
The FAA Child Care Subsidy Program, established under Public Law 107-67 on November 12, 2001, is designed to support eligible Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) employees by reducing the financial burden of child care. The program allows federal agencies to use appropriated funds to assist lower-income employees with child care costs.
Program Benefits:
- FAA CCSP helps decrease out-of-pocket expenses for child care by subsidizing costs directly to providers.
- Eligible full-time FAA employees, including those in U.S. territories or possessions, can receive financial support if they meet Total Family Income (TFI) requirements and use qualified child care providers.
The amount an employee can receive depends on TFI. The chart below shows the percentage of total childcare costs that the FAA may pay:

Program Administration
Cherokee Nation Federal Consulting administers this program for the FAA and provides services that include:
- Comprehensive customer service for FAA employees and child care providers, accessible via telephone, online, email, and fax, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM on weekdays, excluding federal holidays.
- Processing new applications, monthly invoice forms, and annual recertification packages for FAA CCSP.
- This program is dedicated to assisting FAA employees in managing child care costs effectively, ensuring they have the support needed to balance family and professional responsibilities.
